clear bra removal

Just got my 06 M5 and it has a clear bra on the front bumper/1/3 of the side fenders and about 1/4 of the hood. I don't like how you can see the lines on the fenders/hood so I am just going to keep it on the bumper since the whole part is covered.

I was doing some research and it suggested using a heat gun or blow dryer. Have any of you guys tried this before?

Thanks

Darrin

i just had mine put on... can't see the lines at all, but i was watching how they applied it, it looks similar to tint so im assuming heat gun can work but you might have the adhessive residue still left

Clear Bra Removal -it is not difficult to remove, apply heat to a corner with a hair dryer (not a heat gun) and work slowly to avoid breaking / tearing the vinyl (like any applied vinyl, the longer it’s been applied the more difficult it will be to remove) pull at a 45 degree angle and slightly upwards to avoid tearing, work slowly and be patient.
Adhesive removal –
a) Detailer’s clay and /or 1:1 Isopropyl Alcohol / distilled water
b) 3M Citrus Base Spray Adhesive Remover – a citrus-based, solvent-free adhesive remover leaves surfaces clean and dry with no residue. Removes tape residue from masking, foam or duct tape, clean, fresh citrus scent - not recommended for use on plastic
