If you have never tried the "thin plastic" trick, by all means give a try. Very revealing trick.

Clay bar X 1,000,000. I used to charge hundred's of dollars doing this for people when I detailed cars. It's such a simple process but with the right amount of work it does wonders.

very interesting tip with the plastic bag. will def give it a try. one thing i expected to see on the list was the newspaper trick to wipe the windows/windshield. still very interesting and educating.
