Dave, thanks again for the referral, Larry was a pleasure working with.

Joyriide Detailed: CL65 AMG

Owner contacted me looking to bring his daily driver back to life. Despite the car's state upon arrival (quite dirty) and a scuff in the paint, this car was in good condition. Typical MB exhaust soot that requires a dremel at times, brake dust galore, and loads of leather everywhere to clean and condition, it still was a joy of a car to work on. I could write a book explaining each and every step I took on this detail, but I'll simply post the typical paint correction process, and answer whatever questions you may have on a process or way I may have cleaned or treated a certain area.

Process

Wash- Meguairs Deep Crystal
Clay- Clay Magic Blue
Scuff Repair- Meguiars #95 via purple foamed wool @ 1200rpms
Paint Correction
Menzerna SIP via orane ccs pad @ 1200rpms
Menzerna 106ff via grey finsihing pad @ 1200rpms
Sealed with FK1 USA Hi Temp 1000P Synthetic Paste Wax

As all light colored cars, most swirls and marring is hard to notice, let alone catch on camera. What surprised me the
most was the reflection of my halogen lights showing clearly how the right polsihed portion showed a brighter
clearer reflection.

Before you ask, both bulbs were set @ 500watts.

This is all I was able to document of the heavy scuff, the light colored paint made it almsot impossible to capture on camera.

Hiring an assistant was the best thing I could ahve ever done. Training has taken a while, and Reny
still needs a few screws tightened, but he has allowed me to focus more time and effort on my specialties,
without forgetting to take care of the small things that make WORLDS of difference.

Mats drying after cleaning and extracting with Megs APC and "Kids n Pets" stain remover.

Afters
By the time we finished polishing, it was close to 7pm here in South Florida and the sun was close to setting.
I was not able to snap any full after shots outside but I was able to take these after the 2nd wash
we did in order to remove all the polishing dust and residues that outline the masking tape.

The only afters we were able to take with all the trimmings since we finished up shop at around 8:30pm.

Wow Luis, it looks spectacular-I know my buddy Larry is ecstatic, and is thoroughly impressed by both you and your partner's workmanship and attention to detail. Too bad you were dodging rain and light to get some more pics, but the job is more important than the photo shoot lol!

And if this pewter CL65 looks familiar to you here, it is in the 360Forged wheel catalogue as well

Joyriide Detailed: Supercharged Range Rover Sport

Owner dropped this one off Thursday afternoon and began the wheels and engine that night. As you will notice in the pictures, this car has not been kept up with and was seriously showing. Neglect and soft paint really stopped this truck from looking its best.

Owner was not ready to get a full detail with multiple polishing steps, so instead, he chose to simply have me one step the exterior and vac/wipe the interior. Perfection was not key, but improvement was. 106ff was the choice, and via white, at a slower than normal speed (1000rpm), corrected the soft black paint without any trails after a proper prep-sol wipe down and wash.

I also picked up a few goodies and decided to use them and try out. I also got a chance to wax the paint with Zymol Concourse. I'll keep reaching for my Z5pro .

Process:
Claymagic Blue
106ff via white polishing pad
Zymol Concours Glaze

Joyriide Detailed: CLS 63 AMG

I had 6 hours to finish this detail. At first I doubted even getting through the "SIP" swirl removal stage in 6 hours, so from the beginning I did my best with every aspect of the detail to do my best and finish quick. The owner was aware that perfection was not going to be reached since 6 hours to fully wash, clay, polish, finish, and seal to perfection was not possible while trying to reach perfection in paint clarity. I was put to the task of polishing a panel, and having to live with whatever stayed behind. No 2nd passes. None the less, I feel this detail gave an 80 percent improvement among defects.

Process

Wash
Claymagic Blue
SIP via orange pad @ 1200roms
106ff via grey pad @ 1500rpms
Re-wash
Zaino Z5pro
