Stunning! There's nothing like a just-detailed black car.

I just don't have the time or patience for it any more!

I used to use the 3M Imperial Hand Glaze on my E39 and still have a bottle or two lying around. Never tried it yet on the E60 but am seriously tempted to give it a go next weekend...

ahhh...yes..it's the old school "pink" bottle from years back still on the shelves...there is their new product out...called Finishing Glaze that is the new and improved.....but here is what I did...after talking to the SE USA 3M rep for 20 min on the phone....

Here is the complete kit that is what the body shop uses...and I have....http://multimedia.mmm.com/mws/mediaw...666k7gCOrrrrQ-

this for the hood and trunk as I had some swirls...3M foam pad will not burn the paint when using a buffer! Different technology fellas...thank God...

Price for a quart....$18.00 us dollars

Then this for the whole car....this is the MAGIC STUFF....by hand

Price $ 17.50 for a quart us dollars

Then use this to give you even more depth....and protection by hand.

Price $35.00 for the jar us dollars..

For a total of $75.00 us....this will last you a longtime! I have over $1,000 in waxs/finishing products that have been tried over the past year....yea Zaino, Zymol, Meguiars, the laser BS one, eagle1...ect.......I tell you now.....THIS IS THE COMBO YOU NEED TO USE!

I have had many black cars in my life and many debates with my father in law on wax/finishes as he Only GETS BLACK in his cars. This has driven me to learn more than him and most people about polishes and care and show him up.

If no swirls...just us the FINISHING GLAZE and the PS-21s......you will be SHOCKED!!!!!!!! $55.00 investment....give it a try...

even the 3M guys said this is good stuff.....but 3M will have a new product out that is the best he has seen.....so..we wait to believe.....just to let you guys know...I BUY EVERYTHING and try it......So, if I say it's what you need,,then I have already blown money trying things that are not as good...

GUYS...EVERY body shop uses it..and 3M makes the paint! .....so...http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...ermarket/Home/

Wash wheels= 15 min
Wash car = 15 min
Dry car = 5 min
Total prep...35 min

Swirl remover..10 min
Finishing Glaze 20 min
Wax 20 min....only needs 1 coat, 2 on hood and roof
Total paint detail. 50 min

1 1/2 hours....done....I don't mess around.

HONESTLY for our cars...you only need the FINISHING GLAZE AND P21s...I am just too detailed.

THIS IS THE BEST COMBO for your car....
