True this a great product but too steep $ and bulky for me, I have used the big green towel from Lazaino.com that Ira sells and It cut down my drying time in half (less than 5 minutes) the best drying towel I have and will only use...distilled water is only less than a dollar a gallon and from my calculation you'll only need 2 and 3 the most, another reason for the distilled bottled spray is you'll have more control on preventing water from going thru unwanted areas (such as electrical parts)...jmho

With that filtration system, you not only use it to clean your engine but you use it on a regular basis to wash your car. Soap, rinse, the entire car and the engine bay and walk away and its supposed to dry spot free.

Doesnt it more or less do the same as the costly distilling machines?

I followed the recommendations for covering the electrical parts and used Scrubbing bubbles.

First, I vacuumed all the big crap like leaves and stuff like that, then I covered the parts in the diagram PLUS a few other connectors that were pointing up with saran film. Then, I sprayed the **** out of the whole thing with scrubbing bubbles. I brushed some stuff like hoses and things like that.

After that, I removed the cover from the electrical parts and started the engine. I sprayed the car with the fire hose, and gave it a good once over. I also brushed some sections as I was spraying. Everything looked normal up to that poiint.

I then closed the hood and went for a 10-minute drive. When I got back, everything was pretty much dry, so I applied some dressing. Interestingly, the front windows rolled down about 3 inches while I was doing this.....on their own, and with the key in my pocket. It seemed weird and the word "SHORT" popped to mind. But then I started the engine and everything was normal.

I won't wiin any detailing contests (i cleaned it to "good enough" standards without being overly anal), but it looks much better than before.
