Here for sale is my much cherished “Alpina,” she is an October 1999 model and is plated on a “V” registration mark. The car is presented in a “Special Order Individual” Estoril Blue paint code “335” and has covered a total mileage from new of 109500 miles. The excellent news for the new buyer is the fact that this car is supplied with an “Extended “BMW” original warranty” (The good one that covers ALL main components with NO excess payments). This extended warranty is covered until 27th November 2006 so this really will be a “no risk” purchase.

The car has had a total of “3” previous owners. The first being BMW Sytner of Nottingham who used the car I was told as a “DEMONSTRATOR” and due this reason this particular B3 3.3 comes “Fully Loaded.” The second owner was a company director who only owned the B3 for a short while. The car was the registered to the third owner in December 2005 (20000 miles) who owned the car until July 2005 when I purchased her. The car has wanted for nothing with the additional “Extended Warranty” and with my employer fully expensing everything else including fuel (only used Shell Optimax and now V-Power) the car is in really good shape.

The Alpina is NOT a concours car and shows a few signs of her miles with a few “touched in” stone chips on the front edge of the bonnet and a small scuff on the off side rear bumper. In addition the original Alpina soft line alloys are NOT perfect and would ideally benefit from a refurbishment if you were to be ultra fussy. Overall however, the exterior is in a very good order throughout. The Interior is an Alpina special with “Extended Buffalo Nappa” a £4.5K upgrade when new and shows little or no signs of wear.

The only “Extras” that I have personally added are a “Cold Air Intake” and Gruppe “M” type air filter. In addition I have also had fitted a “custom” made rear exhaust box system with a QUAD exit “E46 M3” look which I personally think adds further aesthetic pleasure and a further mystique to these ultra rare cars. The car sounds great, drives fantastic with the SWITCH-TRONIC gearbox (Auto). You choices are three fold really …… Place the car in “D” and use as a full 5 speed auto or if you choose place the shifter to the left of the gate to engage “M” (manual mode). Here you have use of the stick and by pressing forward on the lever will change UP gear and by pulling back the gear lever will change down. Further choices of input can be made by small buttons placed behind the steering wheel at the “3” & “9” O’clock positions. This really makes a huge difference if you feel you want more control over the 280 BHP + straight six M52 series engine.

In addition the B3 comes with a complete STAMPED and DOCUMENTED “BMW” service history and has only VERY recently had an INSPECTION 2 service (the big one). There is 14200 miles showing on the computer display for the next scheduled “OIL” only service. There is NOTHING that needs replacing or repairing on the Alpina it really is a cracking car and a fantastic drive!!!

This is a genuine car and a genuine sale and I have genuine reasons for selling her in addition I have now bought a “replacement” BMW so she as of now is not being used.

The car is MOT’ed through until late July 2007 (All previous MOT’s are available with service history). The vehicle road tax is paid through until the December 2006.

The formatting is crap, but apart from that it looks like a legitimate ad to me, so why should it be removed?

Anyway, it has until Sept 27th left on the warranty (which won't be renewable, as the car has >100,000 miles on it). The seller claims "so this really will be a “no risk” purchase" - for about 6 weeks, I guess :)
