Shadowman i only posted to give my opinion on the car.
Hold On, I thought you said you were interested in buying it? But you really only wanted to give your Opinion.

Quote:
I dont appreciate being told that I dont know what Iam talking about.
A close annalysis of your post can reveal this for itself.

Quote:
The main selling point for this car is its hp claim, however there is no validation.
Oh Thats' right, you are only giving your opinion. Your entitled to do that, however wrong it may be.

Quote:
Wouldnt alcohol injection be a much more effective and reliable way to cool the intake charge in that it is introduced at the throttle body not the intercooler.
One shouldn't repeat information they heard about another vehicle, as it often does not apply to the Beast.

Quote:
If you are really interested in selling this car some hp, 0-60, 1/4 mile, 60-80, 100-120 would would be interesting to see and really draw attention to the car and its sale.
Once again, as you said, you Just wanted to Give your opinion, and your giving it.

Quote:
In essence SC kelleners car is a prototype with no knowledge of how it will react to real world driving conditions
Yes, you are showing with this statement your opinion, and that opinion clearly demonstrates you had no intention of purchasing this vehicle.

So Please don't try to make out you were hunted away from a possible purchase.

As you stated up front, you merely wanted to give your opinion. Thankyou for your opinion, it just seems to differ from most others. Thats O.K. But don't try and make others feel bad that they prevented a purchase.

Are you upset that you didn't get to actually kick the tires whilst you gave your opinion? (Payback for the cheerleader comment)

Rob has been a long time outstanding member of this forum. The fact that a few members offer him some support in a time when things are tough, does not make them cheerleaders.

You call them cheerleaders, I call them Friends.

P.S. If you actually wish to contribute something to the Board, how about a Pic of your Beast, or at least Color, year ans you could list Your Dinan Mods.

I have no beef with Dinan Mods.

MJ

I currently own a beast and was just interested in possibly purchasing sc kellners. After the replies I have received I am no longer interested. I just seems to me that you guys are sc kellerners over enthusiastic cheerleading squad. It seems odd that so many mambers are putting this car on such a high pedestal. When someone such as myself asks a few simple questions I get attacked from all angles. I have no agenda just asking questions.

My true agenda is that I work for Dinan and Iam trying to make Discovery Auto look bad because they are taking all Dinans business and he is very worried. Instead of building and racing great cars he is searching BMW message boards in an attempt to belittle DA.

Re: M5board.com members, First dibs on the sale of the Sc'd M5

Well there is always one fat cheerleader on every squad, so I'll fit in here just fine. No offense, but if you had been around the board for the full story on that car, you would come to Robs defense too. Lets just say that you arent the first to pop in, sign up and stir it up a little. I guess the board has a low tolerance for it now...

Sounds like a shot over the bow to me.

Re: M5board.com members, First dibs on the sale of the Sc'd M5

Bren,
thanks man...and actually thanks to all those who understand about the sale of the car and want to see it passed to someone who sees it more than just a car. Life changes sometimes and while it may seem tragic that it has changed that very second, looking back, God (or who/whatever you personally believe) reveals more when you are past than he does ahead, for if you knew the entire course of life, would you still take pleasure in the very second you live? I probably wouldnt....a little light along the path, i enjoy, but the moment is what I live for.

Joe,
josh and I are unique individuals and im honored to have not only met him but befriended him and learned a good deal from him even in the short time we have known each other. Strange how a tiny hole in the world (the m5 board) can let you establish such stong relationships with people. Many of the members here on the board I hold as close friends even though some of them (most of them really) I have never met in real life. Andre, Robert and Mark are all friends through and through. Even those at Discovery Auto who I were originally nothing more than those who were to build my car, have evolved into wonderful friends who I have even shared very intimate portraits of my life.

As for josh and myself, we are crazy, that is a well established point as many have witnessed here on the boards. As for the comment josh being Teresa, that was an inside joke from lunch today with Josh and his wife.

Life without good friends and acquaintances, sucks. Hope you find a good home for the car.
