2008 BMW E60 M5 with SMG transmission. VIN: WBSNB93578CX09149

I am the third owner. The second owner bought it as a certified BMW car in 2011 and traded it in within a year because he wanted something different.

Optional Equipment:

-Comfort access
-Complete Merino leather (Indianapolis Red w/ brushed aluminum trim)
-Head up display
-HD/Satellite radio
-M Multifunction front seats with dynamic seat back width adjustment
-Powered rear sun shade
-Rear ski loading area
-Sun blinds for the rear windows

It truly saddens me to post this thread but I believe the time has come for me to think about selling my much beloved 08 M5. It currently has just over 63,500 miles and I don't anticipate the mileage to go up by much, as I've barely driven a little more than 10k miles since I bought this car in April 2012 at 52,998 miles.

Reason for selling? Other than the lack of use, I can't really think of a good reason for me to let her go. During my ownership of the car, it has never seen a rainy day. This car has no prior accidents. It has no known mechanical issues and is nearly cosmetically perfect. Other than some fine hairline scratches and very small touchup paint spots, you will not find a single dent or ding on the car. The wheels are perfect with no curb rashes/scratches or other visible damages. There's not a single scratch underneath the front bumper. The leather is in mint condition, as I am the sole occupant 90% of the time when I use the car and I've deliberately placed a towel over the leather surface and exercised caution when I enter/exit the car.

My M5 comes with the following installed aftermarket parts:

Exterior:
-1M front bumper conversion (not the cheap eBay imitation fiberglass part. I was one of the 10 or 11 members who purchased this custom made 1M front bumper for $2k. Long story short. The shop did not do a perfect job so I had it repainted and custom molded the front brake ducts to create a perfectly OEM look)
-3M clear bra
-Vorsteiner carbon fiber rear spoiler
-Vorsteiner carbon fiber rear diffuser
-Dinmann carbon fiber side skirts
-Dinan badge (adds 5hp :))
-LED license plate lights
-SunTek light tint

Wheels:
-Forgestar F10 20 rims
-Hankook tires

Brakes:
-Brembo BBK (front and rear)

Performance:
-RPI scoops (red)
-Dinan underdrive pulley
-Dinan stage 2 suspension
-Dinan carbon fiber front strut bar
-Corsa exhaust

Interior:
-Dinan pedals
-LED interior lights

The car was completely stock when I bought it in April 2012. Except for the Brembo BBK, each and every mod on my car was purchased/installed brand new from each perspective vender/company so you can be assured that everything on my car was done correctly. All maintenances have been done religiously. To keep the engine healthy, I did take this car to a couple of canyon runs with other members from this board.

I am asking $35k for this car as is. Other than the front strut bar and the driver side exhaust, I no longer have the stock parts removed from my car. I am not planning on parting out my car for now.

I will post additional pictures in this thread as soon as possible.

Please email me at wintercloud27@yahoo.com if you're interested. I am located in the Los Angeles area.

Thanks for your interest.

Jon

Might have some interest as I should find out tomorrow if my beast will be totaled or not. A chick ran a red light and and ran into me Sun night in Portland. Used to live in SoCal for the past 8 years and organize runs and I have tons of fellow M5 owners that could go and check this out for me in person. I'm looking at other M's too for possible replacement as well but I will keep yours on my radar. I might have missed it but does yours have heads up display, split fold down rear seats/pass through? VANOS and all updates/service bulletins been done? You can see in my sig my beast.
