Hey Everyone!

I finally decided it was time to pass along my M5 to someone who might get more use out of it. I just moved to Sarasota where I live and work in the city and never get it out of 5th gear anymore. Ouch! I've listed it on E-Bay for those who would like to see some videos and more pictures. Here are the basic spec's:

I bought this car in June 2007 with 23k from its original owner in Seattle, WA. From Washington to Utah and now Florida, this car has been garaged through its entire ownership and even through the winters in Utah. This car was meticulously maintained by me and all maintenance has been performed by official BMW dealerships. I have pretty much every record and receipt for the service and parts done to this car, including paper work from the previous owner! I can provide the date and mileage each part/service was done too. This car has never been tracked and has mostly been driven highway miles. Fully loaded with a few mods described below and no major maintenance besides recent clutch replacement. This car has been a gem to own and maintain.

Recent Maintenance:

- New clutch (Sept 2012)
- New oil pan gasket (Jul 2012)
- New sway bar mount brackets and bushings (Jul 2012)
- New windshield due to pitting and rock chips (Jun 2012)
- New tires Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 (Jun 2011)
- New battery (Feb 2010)
- New transmission fluid (Mar 2008)

I have record for all maintenance (date/mileage)

Interior & Exterior Mods/Upgrades:

- Complete Window Tint 50/15 Formula One Pinnacle Series
- Complete 3M Car Bra package (complete front end, even lights, & behind rear wheels)
- aFe Intake Kit (still have original BMW air intake parts)
- Shark Injector Performance Chip upgrade
- Supersprint Exhaust Manifolds (Mufflers w/Rounded Tips)
- 1 7/8” tow hitch - BMW original part imported from Europe (see photos & video)

Imperfections:

- Immaculately maintained both inside and out
- Some curb rash on front wheels (mostly passenger side)
- Couple slight door dings (hardly noticeable)
- Nearly all front end blemishes are in the surface of the car bra which can be removed
- Few minor rock chips around hood and front end (saved by the car bra)
- Single scratch in rear passenger quarter (hardly noticeable, but too deep to buff out)

I have the original dealer window sticker, both keys, and manuals. The car has been absolute pleasure to own and joy to drive. Here is a list of standard options and features:

I'm guessing since you live in Sarasota, that tow hitch was used to haul a boat. That's impressive. Gorgeous car! GLWS.

Actually, I bought the tow hitch to transport supplies to and from local market events for a new business. I ended up using it to tow a 5x8 U-haul trailer when I moved to Sarasota. So far, only used it about 6 times, but it's nice to have the option if I need it.

Sent you a few questions via email. Agreed, looks to be a very clean car with high probability of the usual suspect swooping in to get it before the rest of us have a chance to do our due diligence.

Very nice car and Good Luck with the sale.

I would suggest remove the Tow hitch. Regardless of how much you used it and how much you "pulled" it is enough to "scare" some people away.

I am not saying don't disclose, just remove it from the car and disclose in details

Guess it doesn't matter whether he removes the picture of the hitch now since you've disclosed it in writing. Would be very shady to see the picture go away now and how your thread previously stated the hitch. PM would have been best IMO. Any buyer with a brain would read the ad and immediately ask questions about the hitch anyway. Not necessarily a bad thing to tow with the car (unusual yes) but I think the Seller did the right thing by putting pictures of this and referencing details and a video that is posted through ebay.
