Wanted: E34 M5 in California

Hey guys, just sold my E30 M3 and am in the market for a solid E34 M5. My strong preference is for a 3.8 liter car. I prefer a euro car, however a stroked 3.6 is of interest as well. Car must have a clean title, should be rust free, and should be in decent shape.

That said, the chance of finding the above is limited due to the fact that they aren't common in the USA. As such, I will also consider a nice 3.6 liter car.

I would like to keep my search within a one day drive of San Francisco, so pretty much on the west side of the country more or less.

Please shoot me a PM if you have one for sale! Thanks.

It seems that I don't have the ability to send PMs until I reach a certain post count. If you would be so kind, please include your preferred method of contact in your PM! Thanks.

Thanks fellas. If I could easily import a car from Canada into the USA, I'd be all over that. As for euromcars, I'm not a big fan...I'm more interested in a private party sale unless the price was really right.

Anything against euromcars specifically? I only ask because I've been eyeing that Oxford '95 myself That guy seems much more of a hobbyist than a car dealer, and I think he's working on getting another' 95 up and ready for sale.

No, nothing against them specifically. Just a general aversion to dealers.

Boston///M5, looks like a great car. There are enough E34's on the west coast that I'll probably concentrate my search here for the time being. Thanks for the offer though!

MoonlitKnight, thanks for the Clarification, I am not a USED CAR Dealer, I simply collect Rare M cars (E34 M5, E28 M5, E24 M635csi & E30 M3 models) and occasionally sell one to replace with another similar or better example...it is a one man show and there is no showroom to display our cars, My self and my other M car nut buddy has I think the Largest Collection of Euro 3.8 M5 cars in the US (8 different colors) & Touring (3) which we have acquired over the years, I have actually imported few rare ones from Germany as well, perhaps will bring some more in the near future...

Good Luck in your Search, if you are not familiar with these cars, please get a PPI....
