Reluctantly selling my '73 tii. Owned since 2006, the car looks and runs great. I do not know who build the engine, but it came with the Alpina A4 injection system (save the Aplina air box). It also has a BMW Motorsport 300 degree cam. The cam works quite well with the injection system. A4 venturis, throttle bodies, and the K-fisch are all in great operating condition.
Unmolested interior with the only modification being a 320is steering wheel. Good paint with some repair needed to be perfect.
Some other recent maintenance includes E30 M3 starter, new water pump, valve adjustment, etc.
Mileage is around 74,000. The odometer went at about 72,500, and I replaced it with one that is at 32,000 miles. The car has not been driven long miles since. I have all records since '88 and can show that the mileage has been consistent up until the odo replacement.
I really hate to sell the car, but there's no room in my garage in VA, and I just don't have the time to enjoy it the way I used to. The car is currently with my father in Southeastern MA. $21,500, negotiable. PM or email me at
