Getting rid of the beast...Sadly...

Hey all. Wanted to see if there was any interest here about someone wanting my lovely beast.

I am getting rid of her to move into a 2010 X5 M. My wife and I had our second child about 6 weeks ago. Now, with two kids, two strollers and twice the fun, I find I need more cargo room. Not wanting to get out of the BMW family, I decided to move laterally to an X5 M. Very impressive vehicle overall, and I believe will meet most of my needs.

My M5 is leased through BMWFS and the lease matures on 7/5/2010. The effective payment to whomever may be interested for December thru July would be $768/month (this is with 6% tax figured in). You only have to pay transfer fee. There are 19100 miles on the car now, with the ability to put up to 32000 on. So, you have 1444 miles/month to use.

Lease buyout would be negotiable, per my understanding, with BMWFS at the end if you wanted to keep it.

Options and configuration as follows...

2008 BMW M5
Space Gray
Black full Merino leather
SMG
OEM M6 wheels with PS2 tires (have about 6000 miles on them)
Premium sound
iPod
Heated front and rear seats
soft close doors
sunshades
Sat radio
HD radio
CA
HUD
Standard sport seats
High beam assist
Xpel clear bra

Never in any accidents. Serviced through Don Jacobs BMW in Lexington and The BMW Store in Cincinnati.

I will try and post pics tomorrow after I have her washed (never been machine washed).

If you have questions, please let me know.

That is a great deal for someone. You might also want to see about listing it on swapalease.com.

Does that mean you put $20K on a down payment?

Looking at this again....what are the lease terms (miles/yr, total months, etc) and what is your buyout?

No, didn't put 20k down. I got an awesome deal on this in July 2008. Saved about 11k off sticker, combined with like a 71% residual or so. Plus loyalty MF at the time. I put some cash incentive to BMWFS today to lower the payment for whomever wants to take it over, hence the lower payment for the remainder of the lease.

My deal was 24 months, 15k/year. I bought an extra 2000 miles. So, 32000 miles total allowed. I have no MSDs or extra moneys in it.

I will have to call BMWFS in AM and see what the buyout is. Can't find the original paperwork in my house.

All the BMWs now sold. Now back in a Porsche. There is no substitute.
