That is a smoking price for a 2008 M5, especially in highly desirable Alpine White.

Should sell for $52k no problem even in this terrible economy. Stay firm on your price, the right buyer will snap this one up soon.

Good luck on the sale.

This is a good deal, basically less than a $20K premium compared to what an '03 E39 sells for! G/L with sale.

BTW, is it SMG?

guys, the car does seem like a good deal and the seller is very helpful!

however I should note the car has been in a rear end collision and the rear bumper cover was thus replaced. I asked him for accident pictures but he does not have any. If I was closer I would definitely go inspect the car personally but just an FYI, could still be a very good deal

Thx for the added info and color. What's important is the degree of severity of the rear end collision - is it a fender bender (which replacing the rear bumper is fine), or was there some structural damage to the chasis. If the latter, than all of a sudden it is a diff ball of wax.

When I sold cars I always found practical to run a CarFax and render it for free to perspective buyers. Definitely instills confidence in people. Just a thought...

The caveat with Carfax(BTW I am a subscriber to the service)...it is not 100%...if an accident is not handled through Insurance...Carfax has no info....so always PPI anyway even with a Carfax.

From what I've seen here on the board, the short time I have been here is most members are compulsive with their "Beasts". (to say the least) Therefore, a true M5 Enthusiast Would 've not only taken pics of any accident, but probably kept the old bumper cover.
