M/S is pirelli's allseason version. The tire shop said, these tires are not good in the snow, but they last longer than the summer tires and thats good enough for me because i dont drive this car in the snow.

Question begs - why handicap an M5 by putting all-season instead of a pure summer only tire?

They're barely an all season tire. Honestly, 95% of todays high performance all seasons, barely classify as them, but more or less can handle some cold weather, unlike pure summer tires which turn into rocks when the temperature drops!

I have summer tires on mine, and when winter gets closer, ill be throwing on snows! I wont be driving it when theres snow on the ground, but i more then likely will at any other time!

Because in this god for saken city (I'm in Vancouver as well), it can snow or ice over in the middle of Summer it seems...

Yes I'm exaggerating a bit but I can relate, there are so few months here that we can run pure Summer tread.

Where did you get them and what did you pay if I may ask?

Jennifer

If your looking for cheap tires, PM me. I might be able to get them cheaper for you from work.
