I started a new thread as the link didnt work in the other one. And it all didnt make much sense Trying to post from the iphone not always good! (if a mod can kill my other thread that would be great)

I have nothing to do with this event other than think it would be a great time and good place for the local M5's from this board to meet. And maybe get some of our own m5board meets going. I need to get some m5board stickers!!

heres the skinny:

I am passing on some info that GTA members of m5board might not know about. I went to this event last year with my M3 and it was great. It was held at Mosport, which was good because they had a bmw track day aswell. This year it is Whitby (for you Toronto guys its like 30 k away or 250 bucks in gas) There where alot of cars, BMW's from every year and type.It was a huge meet! (i will dig up some pics from last year) If anyway M5's are going maybe we can meet up a head of time.


Heres the write up from the organizer...

maXbimmer and Bimmercruise would like to invite everyone to their 8th annual cruise and car show on Sunday Sept 28th, 2008. The location is new and isolated from high-traffic (311 Hopkins St, Whitby). Hopefully, the weather will be cooperative this time around. Spectator admission & parking is free, show cars competing for prizes and/or trophies will be charged $20. Show & Shine begins @12noon (cruise afterwards @5pm – maps will be handed out @event), trophy ceremony scheduled for 4pm. This year entertainment includes a Dyno, burn-out contest, dunk-tank, models, BBQ lunch, drinks, live DJ, vendor sales/exhibitors etc. (Dyno pulls $50, 4-wheel alignment $60)

Joe, if the meet starts at 12pm why are we meeting at 10:30am ?

Perhaps we should meet at 11:30am. I mean it's only a 10 minute drive to the meet, isn't it?
