Stock X6M Perf from a 5.0 X6 w/ a tune??

Ok before I get too bashed I would like to state I did do a search & didn't come up w/ much beyond a a thread & 2 posts.

I'm a former M6 owner & current M5 owner who has the itch for an X6M BAD!!!

My employer owns several BMW stores & I'm entitled to all sorts of discount perks but after speaking to the local GM I was wondering how far off a 5.0 X6 w/ the M Sport Pkg Opt and the addition of a performance exhaust, intake & ECU upgrade would perform from a bone stock X6M. I realize theres a 150hp difference, not sure about trans or rear axle ratios but my understanding was that the M Sport Pkg on the 5.0 would about about mimick the X6M everywhere else other than the driveline.

So I guess what I'm asking is what would the performancve upgrades mentioned (intake, exhaust & tune) yield on a 5.0TT w/o affecting the reliability or making it into a time bomb? What did those upgrades cost vs the $22k base price difference between the vehicles?

All constructive thoughts & comments welcome!

It says the intakes makes big difference and some different parts.

Thanks for taking the time to point this thread out. It appears the twin scroll turbo that is capable of producing more boost is where the big difference is.
