Help in decision making of buying a bmw m6

There is an individual selling a 2009 BMW m6. He has problem with his engine and transmission, he says that BMW quoted him a new engine for 24000 and 22000 a new transmission. He is selling the car for 5k originally and now he wants a good offer. I found a used engine with 6k miles for 12000 in Orlando. Now, do you guys think that is it a good risk or what is your opinion.

M6 fire

So my 2007 M6 tail pipe put out by fire extingiusher. It has about 60K miles on it with the extended warranty, and is stock. BMW is reviewing engine computer to see what prob was. Initial preview says fuel hydrolock, and prob initial fuel injector malfunction, with subsequent fire once fire reached back tail pipe. I can not believe they want to fix this. Prob needs new engine, and all exhaust components to tail pipe, and exterior body work on back end which melted almost half pf the bumper...

Max Rear Wheel size/width

M3 Exhaust

Can someone help me out! from personal expierence or know someone that has an exhaust for the new 2011 M3. wat is a good exhaust for my 2011 M3. nothing too expensive but something that is good quality and affordable thank you
