DSP Distortion help

Posted 12th April 2011 at 09:48 PM by bmw_za
I have a 2005 X5 with DSP. Radio & Tape play perfect with amazing sound but cd's play extremely distorted like a bad radio signal! Changing the cd-changer made no difference. The cd & dsp amp has a slot for a coaxial cable but there is no cable present. BMW have no cable listed so I presume this cable is not necessary? Is my amp faulty? If so, why does the tape & radio play perfectly? Does the amp have different channels for the diff sources? Anybody please help? I believe there are lots of ppl...
