E39 Seat Modifications

Posted 12th September 2013 at 13:47 by nor_easter25
I purchased my 2002 E39 M5 in June and have been enjoying it since. But at 6'5" and 265 lbs I'm finding the seat bottom to be narrow for my butt. Has anyone performed mods to the seat bottom to widen the bottom or outside bolsters?
Is this a mod that a local upholstery shop could perform? Is my only option to reduce the size of my butt?
Suggestions appreciated.

Posted 27th July 2013 at 19:48 by ilya_kun
Oil Cooler seems to be leaking , dealer quoted $1500 , but I'd rather have it inspected independently. Anyone knows a good M5 mechanic around Hollywood, CA?

I'm looking into buying a new or used exhaust for the M5.(obviously I could get a better exhaust for my price range used) If anyone has an axle-back exhaust for sale let me know. Thanks
