A DBR9 as an investment?

This weekend there will be a DBR9 up for auction. Has never been raced, only tested for a few hours. It comes with spare parts with a total value more then £100 000 (including a new engine).

Being a fairly rare racecar do you think one can compare it to the McLaren F1 when it comes to being a good investment?

Don't think you can class it with the McLaren F1. It is not a road car really and not very useable.

Aston Martin signed a five-year deal with Prodrive and created Aston Martin Racing. Around 30 DBR9s could be built, but I think around 15 or less have been built.
