Tire Repair

i noticed a not small, but good sized "rip" on the side of my tire today. not on the treads but on the wall of the tire, anybody use anything to repair this. it's not too deep but i would definitely like to patch it up with something. can anybody help me with this one?

thanks, MKballer

Can't be done. Sidewall damage on a tyre generally cannot be repaired. Don't take the chance of this turning into a blowout later - for a couple of hundred bucks, it's not worth the chance.

+1. Replace it or it could kill you.

Buy a new one. Do not risk your life over $350. I had the same issue and bought a new one.

You don't want to be worried about a rip in the sidewall at high speeds. Just not worth the chance.

+2

The sidewalls are not conducive to patching.
