The Fastest Speeding Ticket in America 242 mph

According to Jeremy Clarkson a Koenigsigg holds Americas fastest speeding ticket record... 242 mph on a public road in Texas!
For the kilo- fans it is 389.45 kph
Imagine what a would say to that...

been thinking about this entire thing last when trying to find some sleep, and it all came to me at once!!! LOL How can someone reach such a high rate of speed on public roads?? (Traffic would be the biggest problem, even on "deserted roads", there's always at least one grandma in here Pontiac) People are just crazy. And then came the second question, how did the cops ever catch the guy? By chasing him?? LOOOOOOL Anyway, would love to read more about this!

You've obviously never been to wide open wastes of west Texas. There is litterally nothing on I-10 between San Antonio and El Paso. The previous owner of my M5 hit an indicated 175 MPH in it while driving it back to Houston from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
