Well, using the comfort access, if you touch the door handles, they are supposed to lock or unlock. Will the carbon fibre door handles affect its operation? I think that is what T-bone was asking.

. Am I the only one since comfort access I think is activated by sensors in the handle. CA, can you post some pictures? Anyone on here with comfort access installed this yet?

I think a video is in order for us to see this feature continue to work. Of course there could be some guy in the background with the remote....

we understand your concerns.

having consulted with our manufacturer again, the sensors would be left "open" so as to allow the comfort access feature to continue working.

Am i mistaken to think these are the INTERIOR door handles that are for sale?
That was my impression after reading the initial post.

If that is the case, then obviously there is no impact on Comfort access.

Good point, and i should have been clearer on this.

We offer both internal and extarnal door handles, but the items and prices on our first post below refers to the Exterior handles.

Again my apologies for not being clearer here.

hello all, has anyone with comfort access installed the cf exterior door handles yet? i am pretty sure i do not want to be the first one... please post if you have.

As we understand it, the comfort access system only operates via the internal door handles, in which case having carbon exterior handles will not affect the system in any way of course...

Hi, there are 2 spots where comfort access is used on the external handles. the first is right by the keyhole for locking and the second is the inside of the handle....

our carbon manufacturer confirms he can keep the contacts free of carbon so the system will still work.
