Also I think the HUD M View can only be done through the M button.

MDM (relaxed DSC) only via "M"

I think you actually can get the "M" HUD setting without the "M" button if you configure the HUD settings that way.

Duh, forgot about MDM. And yes, you can access the M HUD view outside of the M button.

MDM (M dynamic mode) is an DSC mode which allows for some wheelspin, but will correct the car if it gets a bit too much out of shape. Is somewhere beetween full DSC and no DSC in what it does. I use it a lot.

So if I have the m button in mode 6 dsc turned off. I have some sort of a safety net. Sorry to sound ingnorant, but I just want to be sure. I have heard about many crashes when the dsc was turned off.

I dont think you can use S6 with any "safety net"...DSC has to be off totally (correct me if Im wrong though).....check your panel for the green MDM light...if lit then you have your safety net

Correct, S6 cannot be selected when MDM is set. DSC has to be totally off.
