Opening for Sear's Pt. M5 Track Day on Thur. Aug. 16

It looks like we have one last minute opening for our M5 Driving Day at Sear's Pt. International Raceway THIS THURSDAY. This is the first day of our M5 Extravaganza which continues in Monterey on Fri., Sat. and Sun. There will be 24 cars, (23 M5s), and we have the whole track, all day. Russell Racing School, based at Sears, will be running this event for us, using all their professional instructors to help us run a slalom course, auto-cross, and lots of track time in the safest and most fun enviornment you could ask for, with all the instruction you want.

Steve Dinan will be there to chat and answer questions, and one of our 24 drivers will win an M5 front strut brace, courtesy of Dinan Engineering.

The cost is $695, including lunch, spectators welcome, professional photos extra. Wed. night lodging available with the M5 group at Embassy Suites in Napa.

Gustav, the beloved founder and webmaster of this website is here from Sweden, and he will be at this event driving a Porsche Boxter, funded by the Gustav Fund ( made up of donations by members of this board).

A room at Monterey is also seperately available. If interested contact Paul ASAP at pp2000@ pacbell.net

Our airfield events are completely safe based on years of experience, we conduct them during clear visibility with mature participants that have several years of experience with high-performance automobiles, large unobstructed run-off zones on sealed off private former military airbases and we clearly mark the braking zones. If inexperienced with high speed driving we do not recommend organizing your own event but attending a high-performance driving school.
