Dinan software 50% off......
went to the dealer today for little oil and my service advisor was telling me how from now till the end of aug all authorized dinan dealers are running 50 % special on all software upgrades.
just thought some of you might find this interesting for all the guys that have other bmw's especially e39's.
my x5 4.6is already has cold air intake, so i made an appointment for engine and tranny software.they say it should make a pretty big difference.
regular price is $600 each my total came to $591.06 saving over $600.00 im a sucker for a good deal.
i'll let you know the results sometime afternoon tommorrow when i get to work its about an hour from the dealer should be enough time feel the power..
I REALLY THINK I HAVE A DISEASE !!!

Along these same lines, I just got off the phone with a Dinan guy here who confirms rear end is coming, may not be for a while.
He also confirmed that Dinan will soon announce the engine core swap which will produce around 640 hp and OVER 500 TORQUE! Holy screechin' tires . Price, however, will not be for the faint of heart!

I bet we see the engine, tranny and rear diff upgrade come out at the same time. Too bad, the rear diff is probably going to give the most bang for the buck.

ok i just got to work the software upgrades are done, if anyone has an x5 4.4 or 4.6 i defenetly reccomend this cold air intake, engine mgmt software, and tranny software. wow what a differencemuch better throttle response rpms fly up to redline and it feels like the truck(sav) is always in the meat of the gears.not bad for about $850.00 beans.much more than i can say for the AA software i have in the m5 !!
i spoke to my s/a he said dinan stuff will be coming out for the m5 towards the end of the year like nov-dec he did'nt have the specs but he said the complete pkg was about 603hp and will probably cost 25-30k (holy christmas)

Most US BMW dealerships sell and install Dinan products.
Check www.dinanbmw.com. There's an authorized dealer tab on the right side of the page.
