Meet up with you Californian M5 owners (12-19 Aug)?

Right people, i've noticed on this board that many of you are from the stunning state of California & given i'm out their from the UK every now & again i though i'd post up when i'm next over & perhaps i could meet up with a few of you (obviously i won't have my Emmy with me ).

Now i arrive on Saturday 12th August into SFO at about 19:00 & will be staying for 6 nights at:
The Grand Hotel
865 W El Camino Real
Sunnyvale, CA 94086

I'm over on business so during the working day will be at:
Mercury Interactive
379 North Whisman Road
Mountain View, CA 94043 USA

I fly back to the UK on Saturday, leaving from SFO at 08:30

Most of my evenings excluding the 14th are free, as well as the Sat afternoon i arrive & all day Sunday. If any of you are free to meet up it would be my 1st M5 meet & really good to chat over these awesome machines & share perhaps a nice cold beer.

My cell number (which of course works in the US is 0044 7706 006400 & i hope some of us can get together.

Cheers in advance.

Not to be presumptuous of your corporate budget, but if you are here in the Bay Area and doing some work in Mountain View, I might suggest the recently opened Four Seasons Hotel in Palo Alto as an alternate place to stay.

Cheers, but me thinks the Corp Budget would not stretch quite that far. Looks stunning though & i stayed at a Country House Four Seasons last week & they are awesome properties.

Staying at The Grand, as Mercury have a pricing arrangement with them & they provide free shuttle to our offices, plus some of my work associates are staying their.

Nope it's my licese plate & has been on a few cars & 1 motorbike (not at the same time of course).

Cherished numbers are a little harder to come by in the UK & are usually a higher premium than in the US. W8 has not real relevance but PMC are my 3 initials. FOr a while i had W8PMC on my motorcycle & W7PMC on an Audi TT, but i let the W7 plate go when i sold the TT.

I saw an M5 in your third photo. Are there a few M5s that show up. The M5 seems a bit underqualified relative to other participants. Are there any lesser cars that show up at this weekly gathering. If I brought an M5, would the other participants be wondering why I was there with a sub $150K car?

there have been some M3's, lotus elise/exige, audi's, boxsters and caymans there so no I wouldn't say we're underqualified to show up. Would be great to see other M5's there. There were 2 E39's this week.
