M5 vs CLS55 Article

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...an_comparison/
Hey guys, sorry if its a repost or old information, but I found this interesting article in Motortrend. What makes it interesting in my opinion is the track test they performed.

All the best,
ATK

Interesting. The track test really tells the tale. I would like to see this same data with the E63/CLS63.

The more I read about all the choices, the more I think BMW should reduce the total number of choices.

Here are my recommendations to offer only the following:

SMG Modes: S3, S5 and S6 (get rid of S1, S2 and S4)

Drivelogic Modes: D5 (just one drive mode is sufficient)

DSC: DSC On, DSC Off and MDM (keep as is)

EDC: EDC 0 and EDC 2 (get rid of EDC 1)

Power: P400, P500, P500S (keep as is)

That removes 8 options and who knows how many combinations. And most importantly, we should be able to set our default choices so I can start the car in P400, S5, EDC 0 and DSC On while I drive from my home to the freeway on ramp. Then I simply punch the M button to get my S5, MDM, EDC 0 and P500S setting.
