Engine Failure error

Anyone experience this engine failure warning yet where the RPM's are limited to 4,000. It did reset and go away after restarting?

Yes repeatedly see other threads with my name. Vehicle left with dealer for a week whilst they connected it to the head office computer a few times. Problem now solved. Suprisingly only about 10 miles added to the milage whilst it was there. I was on holiday so I didn't miss the car. Dealer refused to show me the warranty invoice because it was sent to BMW and was therefore not my property. Interesting

So they never really explained the problem, sounds like it was software related?

Very odd behavior. Oliver Stone might find this interesting. They wouldn't even print you a copy to share with the rest of us???
