Comfort Access

Hey all,

Picking up my Interlagos Blue on Monday! The car has almost every option I want except for comfort access. Does anyone know if this feature can be retrofitted? And if yes, at what cost? Or if its worth it...seems to be a neat feature for me as I got use to it on my MB CL.

In addition, is there a FAQ posting for these cars so that someone like me can read about all the issues and mods without going through all these posts?

Thanks in advance. I am looking forward to driving and sharing the experience.

Regards,

Vin

No doubt if you have enough money. They keys are different and non-rechargeable, and two keys alone are several hundred dollars. The steering wheel key receptacle is different. You have wiring in the doors, and other changes.

BTW, the parts manual says the parts for the passive access system (comfort access) are not intended for sale. Here are, I think, the part numbers:

FOR VEHICLES WITH
PASSIVE ACCESS SYSTEM
AND
RADIO FREQUENCY 315 MHZ
IMPORTANT! PART NOT INTENDED FOR SALE
S322A=YES

S876A=YES
