Still a "Wolf in sheep's clothing"

Yesterday on the way to the dealer to get an emissions fault code checked out (engine was running fine) I had to kill a Camaro.

Usually I wouldn't bother but for a 2 mile stretch his was making a lot of racket next to me and all over the road. I'm not sure if his antics were directed at me or not because nobody was going anywhere as Captain Valentine had told me we were following Ka Band. So I was just cruising at 2,000 RPM nice and quiet.

Then I needed to take a left onto a four lane hwy and Ironically the Camaro was also and we both got caught at the light (him 1st car & me 2nd). M-mode for me not too aggressive P500s S5 DSC - ON.

Light turns green and he turns spinning and sliding... I stay back just a bit so he doesn't through crap all over me and complete the turn in 1st... 2nd lane opens and I go nuclear... already catapulting past by the top of 1st shift to 2nd GONE... Another car pulled out in the road so we both had to get on the brakes. No Big deal on the kill but here comes the funny part.

At the next light he is right next to me and motions for me to roll my window down. "That car is FAST !" with a confused & stunned look on his face, "what do you have in it ?" I respond "500 hp V10"... He exclaims "wow like a Viper!" "nice car what kind of Beamer is it?" "M5"

It nice to still have some stealth... although I think it does draw more attention than the E39.

It's also nice when the people who know what you've got under the hood slide up with a knowing look and a 'thumbs up'.

Ran into a 996 the other day and decided to have some fun. He's travelling around 70 or so as I pull up behind him. I see him glance in his rear view mirror probably saying to himself "what is this BMW thinking?" He hits it and...I'm all over his tail. The guy slows to around 65 drops to 3rd or 4th and hits it again. I drop to 3rd, nail it, pull up on his rear, throw it into 4th, pull right and practically blow his door off the hinge. Slowed down to let him catch up and tried to get some eye contact but the guy drives by with a puss on his face refusing to acknowledge the King!

So much fun! I love the stealth factor when you get a guy in a Porsche that's used to having his way with most cars. I'm certain this guy was completely shocked that a 4 door BMW was absolutley embarassing his Porsche.

I haven't really had anyone challenge me yet, but yesterday was a rough day and I was being tailgated by some kid in a suped up Subaru. I hit 'the button' and he was left in a cloud of dust. I then come to a stop sign and he's behind me again. I turn and he lines up next to me, as I glance over to see the infamous gauges mounted on his a-pillar. His car also made noises from the blow off valve. He started to get on it, but it was too late -- I was already in the top end of 2nd. After he was completely smoked I let off and turned around to pull into my neighborhood. I can't help but wonder what he was thinking, realizing he was just annihilated by a sedan.

I guess this is my first "kill."
