Best place to start with options is of course their web site (htpp:\\www.alpina.de). You can get pretty much anything provided that you're prepared to pay, since Alpina is good in customization. They also have a list of their so called "partners" i.e. BMW/Alpina dealers outside of Germany at that site. There doesn't seem to be one in Spain though.

You order the car at your BMW-dealer and all "usual" BMW-options like the Navigation system are available. Then of course you can order the car with special paint or interior, like the Alpina Lavalina leather interior for around $9000-10000.

Alpina D10 Biturbo

Does anyone know where I can find the list of options that Alpina offers with this car ( I want one of those nav, tv...) ?

If you want to buy an Alpina car, where do you have to order it ( do you have to phone to German or simply at your Bmw dealer)? I havenīt talk about this with my Bmw stoler, oops I mean dealer, Iīm just looking for some information.

Has anyone the chance of driving it ? How was it comparing to the 740d ?

I have found a very nice speedo pics: http://members.fortunecity.com/need4speed/other-d1.html
And also an interesting information (not enough for me!)page of the D10: http://www.users.wineasy.se/aahl/e39d10bi.htm

Mr. Janne,

I'm confused. MTY is in Spain right? Are saying that Alpina can be ordered from any BMW dealer in Europe? If so, that's news for me.

Hi

ALPINA can only be ordered via BMW dealers. BMW are in fact producing the complete ALPINA cars on their production line.
The only thing ALPINA does is to mount the spoilers and stripes and some ather smal things.
And offcorse they are developing the cars.
Eralier you could order the cars directly at ALPINA but thats not possible unless you are very god friend of Mr Bovensiepen himselv...

Erik,
I suppose you mean specialized BMW/Alpina Dealers. I cannot believe that you can walk into any BMW dealer, anywhere, and order a new Alpina. I also believe that Alpina puts on more than the spoiler in Buchloe. What about special transmission, engine modifications, exhaust and interior? Are they installed by BMW? May be some of our friends who have visited the factory or know more than I do can comment!

Hi
You can walk into a dealer and order an Alpina.
You choose your model (i.e 3series 2.8 etc) plus the BMW options you want on it, & when it is ready, it is then sent to Alpina in Buchloe where the other 'modifications' are then carried out, in order for it to become the Alpina of your choice, (the new engine is fitted, complete with wheels spoilers, deko set or whatever else you want in it).
Once completed, it is then delivered to the ordering dealer for your collection.
Easy really. All the finance/warranty details can be done via the dealer.
Hope this is of use.

I drove the D10 and several 530d and 740d. Itīs one level higher in acceleration and top speed. The 740d has a acceleration drop above 210 km/h the ALPINa goes through up to 250 km/h. It is much faster as the normal diesel models.

Hi

ALPINA has probably choosen some of the big BMW dealers to sell their products. I dont knopw if you could by it form any dealer.
But concering what is made where in the ALPINA, I was told last year during my visit at ALPINA that the car was build in full by BMW. ALPINA develop engines and build them but all assembly is made by BMW production lines. I also saw that my selves after looking on the cars coming on the trailers from BMW.

Well, here in Sweden it seems that you can order from any dealer. We have 5 dealers in the Stockholm-area and you can order from all of them.
