Post Alpina B10 exhaust

I have a B10 3.5 E34 manufactured 10/89. The rear exhaust section needs to be replaced. BMW quote £1050 + VAT to supply the Alpina item. This is ridiculous !!!
Has anyone fitted a replacement in stainless steel which has been acceptable for noise-level/performance/looks?

Try Longlife Exhausts. Their website is:
http://www.longlifeexhausts.co.uk/

I haven't had to replace my Alpina exhaust system, but did get this company to supply and fit a stainless steel tubular manifold and stainless steel 3 inch big bore system to my highly modified Lancia Delta Integrale Evolution.

What is more - you get a lifetime warranty and the price will be dependent upon exactly what is required - but I would estimate somewhere around the £300 - £400 mark (including VAT).

You need to take your car to them (they can't supply mail order) - they have outlets near Bristol and one in Cardiff.

Regards,

Neil
