Soft close doors?

When will the M5 get soft closing doors, like on the 7 series? I thought I saw a BMW bulletin about this. Will the M6 ever have it??? Thanks

If you'd try the search feature you would've found out that soft close will be available in 2007 models expected to be released in the EU and announced in the US in july.

BMW announced the soft close doors would be available sometime during the first quarter of 2006 on the M5.

Re: Soft close doors?

Do a search --Spring 2006 availability announced a while ago. Doesn't mention trunk closer.
