Oil Service line is coming on at 120miles?

The oil level is 0.8 but the car is telling I need to schedule a service visit!

No puddles or any other extra-ordinary oil consumption signs.

I knew I should have bought the extra quarts of oil when I picked up the car!!!!

My oil service is also coming on, it says 700 miles, even though I am at 430 miles.

Thanks for clearing that up floyd.. i thought it meant service at 700 miles. I was wondering what the heck i was doing.

So far oil consumption at 0.2 over 550 miles. All p400 mode only about 20 miles on p500 mode.

Yea,,,i did too. It's a software glitch for it saying SERVICE DUE!

i had .1L to go before bottom when I did my service at 1100 miles as I was going on a trip for the weekend. The dynamics of normal driving will improve when your able to keep the P500. It makes the rev's climb faster with less foot pressure.

Re: Oil Service line is coming on at 120miles?

Here is from a post way back.

Look, I felt the same why in my mind and kept quiet. I thought it was sluggish and slow. My brain was just waiting for the change as my body was already leaning forward. My brain was saying "come on,,come on" then it would change. I even buped it to D5 and S5 just to see if it willl get better for a day.

Conclusion.

TRUST ME, after your breakin, IT GETS BETTER. I am very happy with it.

2. I also didn't like how sluggish the throttle was just getting going with traffic at the lights. P500 gives you the low in torque that is needed to feal like your driving a great car UNDER 5000 rpm. Wait till breakin is over, you will change your thinking. And by the way, there is no auto dim on highbeems, I have blinded enough trying.

American M5s do not have high beam assistance, and it is not available. You must manually dim your lights.

But we are lazy over here! We need remotes for everything.

Thank you for the answer.
