          Canadian M5 now is U.S.

Will a vehicle shipped to Canada be any different than a U.S. car even though they are both considered part of the North American allocation? Will the big numbers on the speedo be KM or MPH if a Canadian car?

My car was originally delivered to canada and then brought to the us. Only real difference was the speedo that needs to be changed over. BMW also has to reset the miles to Miles instead of Km. Also a few things that were standard in the US were optional in Canada,

Isn't oil temp gauge in C instead of F?

My car originated in Canada also...I wanted to buy an extended warranty and all the companies said that since the car originated in Canada, they would not sell me an extended warranty. Does anyone have any validation to this?

          Thanks, George

I have an aftermarket warranty. I think if maybe the car was brought into the US after the factory warranty had expired, then they would have trouble covering yoru car.

Nope...warranty just expired 1 month ago and I tried to get a warranty 5 months ago...is it too late now that my original warranty expired?
