AutoTap ODB2 Software

Anyone here using the AutoTap software on their M5? The handheld reader I use for my Porsche, Benz, and Ford won't talk to my M5, so instead of buying the Peake I thought I would get the PC based AutoTap setup - if it works on the M5.

Re: AutoTap ODB2 Software

I have one and have used it a few times, but I use the Peake much more often. The AutoTap is good if you want to graph/record various parameters (I used it to map MAF vs. engine RPM and intake air temp when testing the IATS relocation). However, if you want something that's small, easy to use and, I believe most importly, gives you BMW-specific information regarding OBDII codes and not just generic OBDII info, you can't beat the Peake. I keep it in my car.
