Let go OR buy my leased '02 beast???

I have 10 days left before I have to turn in my leased '02 M5. I'm just beginning to enjoy it. And I haven't even reached 17,000 miles yet. Does anyone have any advice? Should I pay the $46,000 and own it or let it go and weep?
