M5 Crazy Stuff!!!!!! What The Hell????????

Where do i start......

I am trying to order an M5...my dream car.. for delivery next January in Ireland.

I believe to have one as many gadgets as possible to make it extra special and not to meet someone with a 520i with night vision a month later would send me over the edge.....

Why is it not on BMW.COM or why can they not tell us the options once and for all.

I know not about comfort access ....what about Night Vision and High Beam Assit etc?????

Knowing my luck i will have a top speced M5 and next thing meet a guy in a 520i with a button in his gear knob factory fitted for an EJECTOR SEAT in his passanger seat as he waited 2 weeks later for this option!!!!!!!!

Holy Crap can we once and for all even when you meet that guy in Sept at the show find out the options for this car and a break down for weeks etc or is it somewhere on the site that i have missed ?

Thanks......

Please reply with what people know before i go on the GUINNESS!!!!!!!!!!

Man this is one of the points against BMW. I believe they just want to make a quick sell since they know the car would be selling for its name. I had the same issue before 5 years when I bought 328ci and after 2 MONTHS they annouced the 330CI with the same price but i sold it later and got an M3 that was a difference but they BOTHERED ME LIKE HELL with their recalling-campaign since my car was on of the early ones

But for your information, I have asked my dealer about the night vision and he said it is available only on 7 series and will not be available on the 5-series till another 6months. So, me & U have to decide what is enough options and just order the car. Otherwise, we will not order any thing

For High beam, it is already orderable starting September.

For the 520 point, this is another BIG DISADVANTAGE of BMW cars. If you look for mercedes, the CLS350 starts with $75K and CLS55 is $110K so the difference is not much compared to 520 with $40K and M5 with $110K. For most of the normal people, they see the M5 as normal 5-series with teens accesoeries.

This is does not apply at all to the CLS. This is confusing
