possibly an oil pump problem?

When I first got my car it was 1.1l of Oil. Today it's 0.7l. I'm going now to the company to have them check it out. I wanna ask u guys with the E60 M5 if u guys have the same problem or it's just normal? Thanks

Re: possibly an oil pump problem?

Mine used a full litre of oil whilst in the 1200 miles running in period but none at all in the next 800 miles.

Re: possibly an oil pump problem?

Thanks guys. The technician in BMW says that its normal in the beginning and when it reaches 1000, he'll drain all the oil from the SMG and the car and fill them. 70km to go
