          Post power steering reservoir connection?

I need to confirm whether the rear self-leveling suspension system on the '91 M5 shares the reservoir with the power steering unit at the front of the car. If so, does the power steering reservoir have three outlets. I am rebuilding the above mentioned car and I'm having a hard time finding answers to questions such as this. Any suggestions either specific or in general?

Yes the power steering reservoir is also used for the rear self levelling suspension.
Can't say if there are 3 outlets until I next have a look.

Yes Jacqui, the power steering/leveling reservoir has three outlets. One goes forwards through the back shielding for the headlights, one disappears under the canister, the third one is the one on the lower side, on the left. I can't tell their destinations, as it is rather cramped down there.
          Hope this helps. George

There are 3 fittings. The two on the bottom or the reservoir are returns from the steering and suspension. The fitting on the side supplys the pump with fluid.
