Is this who built my car?

Hi All,

I got a flat tyre yesterday. When I was removing the trim in the right side of the boot (trunk) to remove the jack, a sticker fell out from somewhere. It looks like some kind of record of when the car was built. It reads like this:

B M W - A G
GEORG NAHER GMBH 7145 MARKGRONING
VERKLEID. HI RE
2 234 812

0690

So, I guess this means that my car was built in June 1990, but what does the other stuff mean?

Regards

John

A 2 min surfing on the net reveals that this Georg Naher is a car interiour company that recently was fusioned with a similar company.

So it´s logicl while it fell out while removing the trim.

Here it is;

Georg Näher GmbH
Hans-Grüninger-Weg 11
71702 Markgröningen
Tel.: 07145-140
Fax: 07145-14350

Hi Gustav

Thanks for the very quick reply!

What does this mean though? Does it mean that BMW motorsport subcontacted the interior trim to another company?

Thanks again

John
