Auxillary Battery

I was wondering if my car had the small 25AH auxillary battery mounted in the truck (since it has virtually every other option possible) and decided to check it today. Turns out it does - and it was in need of servicing. After removing the trunk trim, I removed the hold down bracket, disconnected the battery cables from it, and carried it to the work bench. All of the cells were in need of distilled water - probably been years since anyone bothered to check it. I then put it on my charger and trickle charged it for about half an hour. Tester function of charger indicated battery was still in good condition.

My question is what exactly does this battery supply voltage to? I'll go look at my ETM's if necessary, but thought maybe one of our European owners might know the quick answer.

Hi John,
The auxilliary battery is located behind the left hand trim in the trunk, according to my owner's manual. No mention is made of its' use though. It is just mentionned that you can only charge it by its poles and that you cannot use it to jump start a car.
Regards, George
