that's the biggest **** i ever heard of, those wheels are in the option catalog
you can get them here in Belgium as easy as any other part, i suggest if they keep refusing you to sell those wheels that you tell them you will call bmw germany , i did it once to get microfiches, believe me, IT WORKS !!
regards

In the UK unless you provide a chassis number then most dealers will not sell you M5 or M3 wheels, mirrors etc and they were not in the UK catalogue for other than M models. This seems crazy as they are now making the new E39 Sport look like an M5. These wheels were also available on the 7 Series. I guess if you cannot find a friendly dealer then someone will have to let you have their chassis number or possibly buy them in Belgium where they are most probably cheaper anyway.

M5 alloys

Hi Chris if you get in touch with Northway tyres in Colindale NW London they do a decent replica in 18" for £115 each much less than the £400 retail price. They do not have the "M" badge om them but dont look bad good luck

Also, most replicas are "magically" designed to accept the BMW/MPower logo centre caps afterwards !! LOL.

But double check first if you really *must" have the logo inside too.

(did you read that BMW wouldn`t sell some bloke a M3 vented bonnet for his brand new 330Ci ?? !! )

Also, if you want the real McCoy, just try another dealer. This ain`t boom year for most dealers, so if one won`t take £1000+ off you, another will. Market Forces me ladddo !!

Finally, check out as already pointed, the UK magazines BMW Car, Total BMW and Performance BMW from a BIG newsagents like WHSmith.

Also, keep an eye on www.ebay.co.uk .
They don`t come up more than about twice a year, but when the do, sometimes it`s a nice price. Just don`t buy from South London, mobile number only, and he meets you somewhere, because you`ll be depriving another M5 of its wheels !!

Ivan.

PS. If going new.... I prefer the E39 M5 Chrome Shadow wheels and hubcentric spacers... but thats another thread entirely....

Nice pics they do the car justice but i am a bit biased to
the parrallels. The "M" badge i was refering to is the small
oblong one between the spokes as the centre caps should
be the BMW roundel damn those E39 M5 alloys look good??

I still don't like Robert Levinsons Touring with those E39 Wheels! It somehow just doesn't gel.

Ivan,

you're a man after my own heart. I would love a set of those new M-wheels and if i can find a cheap set on ebay I will have them.

Just testing to see how mine will look with them . . .
