I seemed to be stuck in the 1:50.xx range both days there. My last lap felt relly good and was reasonably quick for the cold temps.
Feel free to critque. I know I am still leaving time in 6 & 9. Mostly just don't have the courage to run the car through there at full speed. I was feeling good about 2-5 and 10-11.
The cambered turns there put a lot of stress on the GC rear swaybar mounts. One slipped lose during the 2nd day, no risk of comming off but was clanking and reduced the effect of the rear bar.
Also, thanks to edge for working on the car the day after. I have never seen so much brake dust fall off a car. In the 2 days I burned two sets of front pads, one set of rears, and one set of front brake rotors.
This was the last event for the car. Its mostly back to stock now and back to more of a daily driver. *crosses fingers and hopes for no more delays on the lotus* However, I will have to try the M6 at this track at least once

Wow Dan- I enjoyed watching your video! One of many things I learned from a little track time is its important to not only know your vehicle's threshold but your own. In the case of the M cars, I think the vehicles are beyond me! I think you're going to throughly enjoy that Lotus. Hope it comes soon

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I wish more people would try their Ms at the track or an autox. You don't realize just what they can do until you experience it.
I am really looking forward to having a dedicated track car. The stiff springs, shocks, and roll bars were making the M a less than ideal daily driver out here with the less than stellar CA roads. Now I can go full out on the track car and have a fun AND comfortable daily driver
If they do price the M6 over 100k, I'll probably switch to the M5. There is a turbo kit for the Lotus thats calling my name...

Nice smooth driving overall! I'm no Laguna expert, only having done a 3 day school there, but here are my comments:
Turn 2- have you experimented with the double apex instead of the single?
Turn 4- looks like you might be leaving some time on the table here. It's tough to remember how open the exit is.
Turn 7- Instructors taught us to put the left side of the car to the left of that rumble strip. The track surface there is OK, believe it or not. It gets you a better approach for braking into 8.
Turn 9- I share your sentiments exactly. Tough turn to really go for it, especially in your own car...also my favorite corner on the track.
Have fun and be safe out there.

I have tried a double apex at 2. Problem is the newer BMWs go into terminal understeer and don't seem to want to bite into the 2nd apex. FYI: I have been told that the single apex is the qualifying line and the double is a race line. Slightly slower but protects you from a pass.
4: I tracked this one out right a few times. However, I wasn't yet consistant there so I backed it off to 90% or so. Its such a long turn it magnifies any little error on the way in.
7-8: I keep trying diffrent things here. Much room for improvement
I am looking forward to going back , I have been in withdrawn waiting for the track car to arrive.
