Think about it...

(1) The M5 is a flagship model (if you exclude the 760iL)
(2) There's never enough luggage space, especially with a family
(3) Custom luggage would be a profitable & desirable extra for the car
(4) Mercedes have already brought out custom luggage for the CLS55AMG as seen here:

If it could be specified in leather to match the interior that would be extra cool (but not really necessary)

I'm not talking about the stuff they sell at dealers from a brochure - I'm referring to the pieces that are specially sized to fit every nook and corner of the boot (trunk) like a jigsaw puzzle.

Ferrari have been doing fitted luggage for years:

Here's some Porsche luggage:

You can get it for lots of cars these days.. so come on BMW are you listening?!

I think that´s a really good idea...imagine an onyx blue car with caramel interior and caramel custom made luggage

super nice IMO.

I don´t like the custom luggage for the CLS though, I think it looks far too common.

I think that would be a very nice option too

These options seems to become more and more popular so I think it´s about time that BMW followed the trend.

Very nice! Perhaps if BMW don't make it, one could buy Alpina B5 fitted luggage. Surely it would fit the new M5 as well

An added plus would be if the luggage was done to match the individual vehicle's interior (at the owners choice of course!)

Ashok, Sounds as though under the skin you are really an MB AMG type of guy wanting custom luggage for the M5!!!

It makes you wounder what the cost of the custom leather luggage would cost. Course they could just include it for the price of the new M5
