Careful what you tell the Doc!

I thought this may be appropriate here since the issue of car insurance at DE's is being discussed.
Heads Up. About a year ago, I went for my 2nd physical (36 years old) and the doctor and I starting discussing various topics. Cars then came up and I mentioned I had tracked my 911 and M5 10 or so times in the last few years. I left her office and about a year later when doing some estate planning and purchasing life insurance, my life insurance company tried to deny me. It seems the doctor had written in her notes that I raced cars. When the insurance company asked for my records, they saw the notes and I had to jump thru hoops and sign numerous documents that I did not race cars. Needless to say, I got the insurance, but the point is, be careful what you say to your physicians as the insurance companies are listening!
