Need help choosing a color. Choices inside!

I am still not sure what color to choose for the M5

I really want Carbon Black, but that color sadly is not available for the car. I do not know why I am going to ask how much it will cost to paint the car in that color, but if it's too expensive, I am going to choose one out of those ///M specific colors:

Interlagos Blue

Sepang Bronze

Silverstone II

My order is final now, btw, but I have still some time to change the color of the car. The order says Sepang Bronze for now, but I am not really sure I still want that color....

BTW, I bought a rear seat entertainment system for the car as well, with 7" screens in the headrests (bigger than the iDrive screen in front), a 6 DVD changer, headphones and A/V connections for Playstation and stuff

This is a 7-series, but the system is close to identical!

Hi Klier -

Carbonblack is available for the E60 M5. It is part of the Individual Program and you can see it on the visualizer here:

http://www.bmw.com/generic/com/en/pr...selection.html

Just follow the links at the bottom of the pages.

I am getting Individual Onyx Blue.

Of the colours you have listed above, Sepang is just weird and Silver is boring. I would choose Interlagos Blue if I were you, but be aware that Interlagos is brighter in real life than in photos.

Regarding your DVD system & rear headrests - are you getting option 944 as shown here?:

How much does it cost?

Oh please not the bronze! That looks terrible IMHO. The Blue looks great, as would carbon black. Although, no matter what color it is, an E60 M5 would just be nuts, so enjoy it when it comes!

Re: Need help choosing a color. Choices inside!

all four colors u listed is nice,, actually i wont judge the sepang until i see it in the real life... those picture doesnt show the car color well.. my opinion is either carbon black or siverstone those are nice color.. by the way the silverstone in this poor picture doesnt look silverstone it look silver... there is a closer shot to the door when it is opened where u can see the real color

Please do not get the bronze. The rest of the colors look decent, but the bronze is horrid IMHO.

Lighter colors make the e60 look worse than darker colors. That being said, i would opt for the blue, carbon black or jet black.

Re: Need help choosing a color. Choices inside!

Colours are purely subjective. I would go for the silver, followed by Onyx Blue in Individual. Sorry but Sepang Bronze is ugly to me. The E60 doesn't look that suave in the first place, and if we stuff up the colour with Speang Bronze ... what a mess!

I can't get over that almost vertical & vast chunck of metal between the quad exhaust and the number plate. It gives the E60 M5 such a chunky ***.

I would go for the Blue or Black.

I am going to order black (no metallic). Does anyone if this is possible or can I only order Saphir Black metallic?

Re: Need help choosing a color. Choices inside!

Ok, colors are subjective. Just like favorite numbers, etc.

That said, out of your choices I would go with the silverstone because I really dislike the other 2 choices.

I do like carbon black, but Im not so sure if that will be the best color on the E60. I think it would look downright mean in jet black.

In any event, good luck with the car and let us know how things progress and how you like it when you get it.

Is the picture of the 7 the same system BMWNA is offering as the "rear seat entertainment package"? If so it looks great. Do you have any more images to share?
