VIR Event July 5-6

Just finished 3 days at VIR. The Tarheal BMWCCA chapter ran their school over the weekend and Tracquest ran on Monday and Tuesday...............my first time at this track and I am stoked (shades of my old beach days)........it was tough to get the line on the first day, lots to remeber with 17 turns in 3.27 miles, but it came together a bit on the second day and I was able to manage reasonable lap times and keep up with some of the "regulars".........if you have not been there....."try it...you will like it!"

Re: VIR Event July 5-6

Me and some of my buds hope to get up there this spring. I love that track, and the Patriot course too. Both are very challenging. We actually had an instructor get sea-sick on Patriot it is so twisty. But, man it is a great little track, but only a diversion from the larger track wrapped around it.
