To be honest with you...I think someone who doesn't have as much $$ as you would appreciate your M5 a whole lot more.

Next time try comparing 2 cars in the same class.

Re: Trading in my 03 M5 for 04 cayenne turbo..

Yeah, two different machines. Why not just get rid of the two 5's and get the Cayenne?

BTW, can I borrow your 911tt?

Re: Trading in my 03 M5 for 04 cayenne turbo..

Oh, I thought you said you HAVE two 5's, not HAD. My mistake.

I guess the Cayenne would be a nice counterpart to the 911. You already have the sporty fast car, now you need some more utility. Go for it, although I think the M5 and 911TT is the best garage combination for under 200k.

Re: Trading in my 03 M5 for 04 cayenne turbo..

I would stick with the M5. The Cayenne is a cool rig indeed, but I think it would never fulfill the role the M5 plays. I dont know how the beast plays into your life, but IMHO I would keep one of the best cars ever made.

Nothing cooler than trailering your TT with the Cayenne Turbo to track events.

That would be something .

Cheers.

PS The Cayenne TT is not a drivers car like the M5 (I have driven the Cayenne TT), and if had to carry 4 passengers on a winding road, there is no way the Cayenne TT will be more fun than the M5. If you want a "real" off-road vehicle, then get a Land Rover. Just MHO.

Re: Trading in my 03 M5 for 04 cayenne turbo..

I consider the Cayenne to be the ultimate swiss army knife vehicle...it can do everything well. That said, I think the Cayenne is really good for the person who can only have one vehicle (say someone who has parking problems like in NYC or can't afford multiple vehicles), but still wants both the performance and utility offered by this unique "truck". Good luck with your decision, I really don't think there is a wrong choice here.
